1. SOFTWARE ENGINEER
(Penang, Malaysia)
Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a project team to develop enterprise applications and products using Java technologies.
- You will perform functional analysis, design, documentation, coding and testing for the application modules assigned.
- You are expected to follow standard development methodologies and guidelines to ensure high quality deliverables.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
- Preferably with 1-2 years experience in software development.
- Required skill(s): Java Programming Language, Spring Framework, Hibernate.
- Preferred skills(s): JavaEE Framework, Struts, JSP, Servlet, JSTL, Javascript, HTTP, HTTPS, CSS, Web Services and etc.
- Must be well versed in object oriented programming and design methodology.
- Ability to work under pressure, be independent and submit the deliverables on time.
- Strong analytical and programming skills.
- Good academic result and able to demonstrate the ability to learn.

Job Summary
The incumbent provides consulting services to customers and assists them implement security and compliance standards across the organization. These services are normally provided onsite.
Desired profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / B.Sc / B.Com / Diploma in Engineering
- Security certifications like CISA / CISSP / CISM / BS 7799 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer are desirable
Candidate should have:
- An experience of around 1 – 4 yrs, preferably in IT Security Audit
- An ability to conceptualize network security architecture
- Sound knowledge of ISO 27001:2005 / SAS 70 / HIPAA / COBIT/ PCI DSS standards and controls
- Conducting IT Security audits to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI, ITIL standards pertaining to information security.
- An ability to map clients security needs into NSS’s services
- An ability to define security policies, procedures and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Be well versed with MS Office

The incumbent performs penetration testing / application security / technical audits / vulnerability assessment assignments for customers and provides technical advice relating to implementation and testing of security mechanisms.
Desired profile
Bachelor / diploma in Electronics / Computers/ BCS
CISSP / CEH / RHCE / Checkpoint certifications being desired
Candidate should have:
- An experience of around 1 – 3 yrs
- Hands on experience in vulnerability scanning / hacking tools
- The ability to conceptualize network security architecture
- Good knowledge of programming and scripting
- Evaluating security solutions (Firewalls, SSL VPN, IPS, /IDS, Antivirus, Proxies, Anti Spam, Vulnerability Assessment Scanners) and provide recommendations.
- Hands on experience in implementing Firewalls, IDS
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of IT Security products
- Creativity and innovative thinking
