On 15 Sep 08 NSS along with our partners, Innovative PPL, launched the “Easy Recharge” service for Nepal Telecom customers. The service was launched by Mr. Lok Raj Sharma, Director, Mobile Services, Nepal Telecom at the Himalaya Hotel in Kathmandu. NSS has developed the software to enable the service which will facilitate mobile top ups which until now have been scratch card dependant. The software rides on our patented XMS technology which allows secure transfer of top up PINs from the enterprise server to the retailer’s handset. As a reminder, NSS had launched the secret SMS service with Nepal Telecom on 11 Jul 08.
